Situated in the southern part of Sullivan County, New York, Eldred Junior-Senior High School offers a unique, individualized school experience. Eldred is an all-regents high school, whose students are among the top performing in the nation. After school, Eldred is bustling with athletics, clubs, and performing arts groups. What's Happening

Science Is Fun Event: “Science and Art - A Great Mix!”

Eldred Junior-Senior High School students and teacher will present “Science Is Fun!” with demonstrations and hands-on activities for children ages 5 to 12 on Tuesday Oct. 30, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The theme of this educational event is “Science and Art - A Great Mix!”

The event will take place in rooms 316 and 317 on the third floor of JSHS. Sponsors are Eldred CSD Parent Teacher Association and the American Chemical Society. Cookies, apple cider, and ice-tea will be provided.

This free program is designed to introduce young people to the wonders of chemistry and other sciences in ways they can easily understand.

Welcome back, everyone!

We are looking forward to the new school year! Please join me in welcoming Venera Jouraeva, our new Chemistry teacher to the JSHS faculty.

We hope to see many of you there, supporting our Yellow Jacket teams.

Late Buses

Late bus leaves the high school at 4:10 p.m. as a courtesy for student who may be staying after school for a variety of reasons. Please click the link for the drop-off points for students. Drop off times at each stop may vary depending on the number of daily riders. Should you have any questions please contact Mrs. Muller at the bus garage at 845-856-9980 Ext. 1. Thank you!

PSAT/NMSQT Information

PSAT/NMSQT October 10th - Sign Up Now!

11th Grade Parents & Students:

The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered on Wednesday, October 10th at 8:00 am at the Junior
Senior High School.
The cost to take the test is $16.00 and checks must be made payable to Eldred Central School.
To sign up students must notify their Guidance Counselor and provide payment
for the exam by September 12th.
