Good evening JSHS Students and Families,
Wow! I cannot believe it is June already. JSHS is preparing to send our kids off for the summer and then celebrate and graduate the Class of 2023 at the end of the month. As I reflect on my first year at JSHS, I want to say it has been a pleasure being a part of this community. Eldred is a small school environment with big dreams, and I am happy to be a part of it. Thank you all for your support throughout the year and it has been a pleasure meeting you all.
Below are just some updates and reminders as we finish out the school year.
Last day of classes at JSHS is this coming Tuesday, June 13th. This is also the last day for our students attending VoTech at SC BOCES. There is no school for students during Regents week. Only students taking an exam should come to JSHS.
Regents week is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14th to Thursday, June 22nd. Please note, there are no exams on Monday, June 19th as the Juneteenth Holiday will be observed.
Please contact the main office if your child is in need of transportation for the exams they are scheduled for. If you are unsure of what exams your child is taking, please contact the main office so we can assist.
Please remember to have your child return their library books as soon as possible. Late notices were sent out to everyone needing to return something.
All sports uniforms need to be returned to the Athletic Department immediately. Eldred JSHS utilizes all uniforms for each sport season so it is crucial that these are returned. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Amanda Zgrodek-Athletic Coordinator at zgrodeka@eldred.k12.ny.us
All 7th and 8th graders are asked to return their Chromebooks to the technology department. All 9th-11th graders are to keep their Chromebooks. Seniors can keep their Chromebook, but should provide the serial number on the back to the technology department. They were also sent instructions on how to use “Google Takeout” to save important emails they may need after graduation.

Lockers- students must have their lockers cleaned out on the last day of school. Any items left in lockers will be disposed of after Graduation.
