Good evening JSHS Students and Families,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Where did the time go? Our first semester officially ended on Friday, January 26th. Please note, our report cards will be published on the parent/student portal on Tuesday, January 30th. 

I encourage your child to take a look at their second semester schedule. For some, half-year courses have finished, and they will be beginning a new course. Most of their schedules will not be affected, but if your child needs a schedule printed, they should come to the main office on Monday so it can be provided. All questions regarding scheduling can be directed to Ms. Gueren. In addition, the ten-day window for adding and dropping courses is beginning and will be followed. In the event you need something clarified or changed, please see Ms. Gueren during that ten-day window.

Also, students will be given new Student ID cards during their lunch periods the first couple days of the spring semester. This is a multi-function student ID card and lanyard. This card will be used not only to identify your child as a student of the district, but will also function as a means of checking out library books and paying for meals at the cafeteria point of sale due to its unique barcode. Please have your child keep this card safe and have it accompany them each day.

I am looking forward to a great second semester to the 2023-2024 school year. As we head into spring, please remind your child to stay on top of their academics, and take full advantage of all the great things that are going to be taking place at the Junior Senior High School.
