The JSHS Hope Squad is leveling up their commitment to student well-being by diving into advanced mental wellness training. These student leaders have been busy sharpening their active listening and crisis intervention skills through hands-on workshops and collaborative role-playing. By mastering the best ways to recognize warning signs and connect peers with professional support, they are doing more than just raising awareness—they are building a vital safety net for our school. This ongoing dedication ensures that the Hope Squad remains a powerful bridge to help, fostering a culture at JSHS where every student feels seen, supported, and never alone.

A Day of Cheer & Competition at Eldred JSHS!
What an incredible Friday! Eldred Junior Senior High School wrapped up the week with a day full of joy, leadership, and a little bit of friendly competition before heading into Winter Break.
The Holly Jolly Trolley
The morning kicked off with our Leadership Team bringing the holiday spirit directly to the classrooms! Our staff enjoyed the Holly Jolly Trolley, featuring a wonderful selection of festive drinks and snacks.
In the spirit of our district-wide Leader in Me initiative, the trolley was led by both teachers and students working together to brighten everyone's day. It was a perfect example of shared leadership in action!
Culture Team Activities & The Big Tournament
Under the direction of our LiM Culture Team, students spent the day participating in various activities throughout the building. The energy reached a fever pitch in the gym for our Second Annual Bill Dill Pickleball Tournament!
The competition was fierce this year, but a huge congratulations goes out to James and Koen for being crowned Back-to-Back Champions!
Happy Holidays!
A massive shoutout to all the students and staff at JSHS for making this Friday so special. We are so proud of the culture of leadership we are building together.
We hope everyone has a restful and wonderful winter break. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year from all of us at JSHS!

The JSHS band shared their musical talents with the younger students at George Ross Mackenzie Elementary school on Friday, November 21st. This was a wonderful opportunity for the younger students to experience a live musical performance, and to see the exciting possibilities that participation in school band offers. The performance was a great way to foster community and inspire future musicians within the district! Great job by all band members!

Fantastic reading energy in Mrs. Logiudice's classroom!
To celebrate her students' success, Mrs. Logiudice created a new bulletin board that displays the book covers of every book students finish during their 10 minutes of independent reading. The students are thrilled to finally finish books cover-to-cover and are making reading a real social event! Students are recommending books to each other, and even asking for more to be added! Mrs. Logiudice will be adding books to the bulletin board as students complete them. Nice job by all!
