September 28th there will be a Senior Parent Meeting (in person) starting at 6pm. I will cover Military, 2 Year College and 4 Year College information and our checklists with a quick survey. Our Sullivan County Community College Financial Aid Rep will present an overview of the FAFSA and we will both be available to answer questions.

The purpose of a PTSA is to bring together families, students, teachers, school administrators, and local business and community leaders who are devoted to the education success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools. One of our main goals is to support learning and social-emotional development by providing diverse, innovative, and educational opportunities to the students in the JSHS.
Our first meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, September 19th at 6:00 PM. We will be meeting in the Library of the JSHS. We hope to see you there!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the remainder of the summer.
This is just a reminder that Regent exams will be taking place at the Junior Senior High School tomorrow, August 16th and Thursday, August 17th.
Students in need of specific exams should have arranged with the main office if they would be taking an exam on these days. Please note, transportation will not be provided.
If you think your child is not signed up for an exam tomorrow and should be, please contact Mrs. Bonnell at bonnellh@eldred.k12.ny.us or myself at conklinm@eldred.k12.ny.us as soon as possible.
Good luck to all of our students taking exams. I will be in touch regarding the opening of school, but please rest and relax before the first day of school.

Class of 2023 Commencement Update:
Due to the possibility of the unstable forecast tonight, the Class of 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be inside in the JSHS Gymnasium. There is plenty of room in the gym for all to attend. Please note each graduate is given 6 assigned tickets, but more seats are available.
The Ceremony will begin at 6:00PM.

Important Information Regarding Regents:
We will begin our Regent exams tomorrow, June 14th. They will run through Wednesday, June 21st. There will be no exams on June 19th for observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.
This message is about transportation for the exams. The bus drivers will be doing their normal High School Morning bus run, and will pick up any students at their regular stop at their normal pick up time for their exams. Please note, there is no midday bus to take them home. However, there will be a PM bus home at approximately 3:00PM, after the afternoon exams. If your child is taking the PM bus home, please note their arrival time home will vary based on the length of the tests.
If your child needs to come in on the regular morning bus before their afternoon exam or vice versa for the afternoon, they will be supervised by school staff. Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
